Zillertaler Höhenstraße

The curvy Zillertaler Höhenstraße is one of the most beautiful roads in the Alps! You can reach this road easily from Ried or Kaltenbach. After the toll station, you will leave the forest and head up to an elevation of 2,020 m. Awaiting you along the 20 km long summit route is an impressive mountain panorama. Cozy huts and inns invite you to enjoy culinary refreshments.

Schlegeis reservoir

A curvy route through the breathtaking alpine world leads to the turquoise Schlegeis reservoir (Mayrhofen). Along this route, there are waterfalls and natural stone tunnels. Beyond the valley

Ship ride

As early as 1887, the 1st steam boat made its way across the Achensee, and to this day, a ride across Tyrol's largest lake is still a special experience. Glide over the water as you enjoy the view of the surrounding mountain scenery. Awaiting you on board are special highlights such as theater performances or a casual Sunday brunch. A ship ride on the Achensee can be perfectly combined with a hike or a visit to the idyllic Gaisalm.

Schwaz silver mine

"Glück auf!" - this is the traditional miner's greeting. Once you have traveled 800 m down on the mine train, you will enter a fascinating underground world. You will follow in the footsteps of miners as you go on an interesting journey through history. It's hard to believe! In the Middle Ages, 85% of the world's silver deposits came from this mine.

Krimml waterfalls

With a thundering roar, the Krimml waterfalls rush down 385 m into the depths and display their impressive power. A fine spray of mist fills the air on the waterfall trail! Here, you can feel the magic of this natural wonder. In the Haus of Wasser (House of Water), you will see how important the element of water is for all forms of life on our planet.

Innsbruck

Walk in the footsteps of the Habsburgs. Marvel at the glistening shingles of the Golden Roof (Goldenes Dachl) or the "Schwarze Mander" by the tomb of Maximilian I in the Hofburg. Take a leisurely stroll through the medieval city. These are only a few of the attractions in Innsbruck. A special view of the Nordkette awaits you from the Bergisel ski jump, an architectural highlight designed by star architect Zaha Hadid. The Alpenzoo Innsbruck is another special experience that is for more than just children. In Europe's highest alpine zoo, you can observe otters, wolves, lynxes, or deer.

Tratzberg Castle

Let yourself be whisked away to another world and discover the fairy-tale Tratzberg Castle in Stans. Take a stroll through the large arcades towards the Fuggerstube parlor, let the ballroom cast its spell over you, and marvel at armor from long forgotten times. Awaiting young guests is a fascinating, child-oriented, fairy-tale version of the Tratzberg Castle as well as a knight's quiz and playground. In addition, you can experience the history of the castle as a 360° virtual reality journey.
